We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Enquiry Assistant to join our team in Rockhampton. This role is perfect for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys working in a finance-related setting. Key responsibilities include responding to client enquiries about invoices and statements, assisting with issuing invoices, and following up on overdue payments. You'll work closely with the Finance, Revenue, and Community Care teams to ensure smooth financial processes. About the Role
The Client Enquiry Assistant is responsible for responding to client account enquiries.
The key activities undertaken in this role include:
- Responding to client enquiries received relating to invoices and statements
- Liaising with relevant departments to investigate raised issues
- Contact customers by calls, emails, and letters regarding overdue payments
- Assist Accounts Receivable Officer, HCP Specialist and NDIS Specialist to issue client invoices and statements
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Current Driver’s license (QLD)
Desirable:
- One (1) year experience in an office environment with client interaction.
Core Competencies
- Sound level of accuracy and attention to detail in maintaining records
- Sound level of verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders
- Sound level of problem-solving abilities to assist in addressing and resolving billing issues
- Sound level of experience in the use of basic finance software and systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data entry and basic analysis
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices and integrity in all revenue activities; and
- Demonstrated commitment to organisational policies, legal requirements and industry standards
- Basic understanding of billing within a corporate setting
The successful candidate will also be required to demonstrate entitlement to work in Australia, and to disclose any pre-existing injury or disease which may be adversely affected by undertaking the inherent requirements of the position.
All offers of employment are subject to the satisfactory completion of relevant screening and background checks, including an Australian Federal Police check, an NDIS disability worker screening check, and attainment of a Blue Card for working with children, prior to commencement.
