Description:



  • Capital Raising: Lead and execute strategies to raise capital for private credit funds, targeting institutional investors like pension funds, family offices, and sovereign wealth funds.


  • Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key institutional investors, ensuring regular communication and trust.


  • Fund Marketing & Communications: Oversee the creation of marketing materials, presentations, and investor updates to effectively communicate the fund's strategy and performance.


  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a distribution team, setting clear goals and ensuring execution of fundraising and investor engagement strategies.


  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and investor needs to drive firm growth.


  • Market Analysis & Reporting: Provide senior management with insights into market conditions, investor feedback, and competitive dynamics.

Requirements:

The successful candidate for the Head of Distribution role will have:

  • Extensive Experience: At least 10 years in institutional sales, capital raising, or investor relations, preferably within private credit or alternative investments.
  • Proven Track Record: A history of successfully raising capital and managing relationships with institutional investors such as pension funds, family offices, and sovereign wealth funds.
  • Deep Knowledge of Private Credit: Strong understanding of private credit strategies, markets, and investment vehicles.
  • Strong Network: Established relationships within the institutional investment community and a broad network of potential investors.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and mentor a distribution team, driving performance and growth.
  • Excellent Communication: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate investment strategies to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic Thinking: A strategic mindset to identify business development opportunities and market trends.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills to evaluate investor preferences and market conditions, with the ability to act on insights.
