ABOUT THE COMPANY.Work for a Local Council based in Northern Sydney. Work in a team of Management Accountants that supports an environment of training and collaboration. You will also gain the opportunity to work alongside a broader team of finance professionals at Council.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
A 3-month opportunity with potential for extension. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the budgeting, forecasting and preparation of the annual budget, revenue pricing policy, long term financial plan, performance monitoring and more.
DUTIES.
- Compilation of costing information for pricing decisions
- Preparation of the annual budget, financial summary information and development of annual capital works program
- Maintain Fees and Charges online register
- Conduct quarterly budget reviews
- Cost evaluation, financial analysis & more
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or relevant
- Experience as a Management Accountant in Local Council
- Proficiency with TechOne
- Mature and organised approach to work

REMUNERATION & BENEFITS.
- $60 - $65 p/h + Superannuation
