About the opportunity:
Position: Rehabilitation Assistant
Vacancy: Permanent full-time
Location: Townsville University Hospital
The purpose of this role is to assist in the provision of Rehabilitation Services in a Tertiary Mental Health Service. The ideal candidate would also be able to assist in the delivery of care, while following through with ancillary tasks around management and implementation within the AAMHIU.
All employees of the Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the Service.

- Salary range: $68,471 to $71,983 p.a. (CA3)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading

Requirements:
- Completion of Certificate IV in Mental Health Work (non-clinical), qualification can be obtained during employment.
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
