Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state's emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria's 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

The Communication and Engagement Officer is a key and active participant of the Stakeholder Engagement stream in the Next Generation Computer Aided Dispatch (Next Gen CAD) Project Team.

The goal for Stakeholder Engagement is to provide a cohesive strategic engagement and communication experience that enables the successful implementation of the Next Gen CAD platform, a significant technical project for Triple Zero Victoria and the Emergency Management sector.

The main purpose of the role is to support the Stakeholder Engagement stream with stakeholder management, communication development and review, and coordination and delivery of engagement initiatives. This includes delivering successful internal and external communications on behalf of Triple Zero Victoria for Next Gen CAD that promote constructive open transparent engagement.

Day to day responsibilities include:

• Coordinate internal and external stakeholder communication and engagement including planning, tracking, reporting and analysis

• Providing detailed secretariat function for key stakeholder engagement activities

• Support the development and review of communication materials and artefacts across the project

• Respond to changing priorities and demands with an adaptive, resilient and flexible approach

The successful candidate will have qualifications or relevant transferrable experience in Project Management or Communications disciplines. In addition, the successful candidate will have the below skills and attributes:

• Proven experience in contributing to the delivery of communication and engagement for complex projects

• Strong interpersonal skills with a variety of stakeholders and demonstrable facilitation and liaison skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and personal presentation

• Stakeholder focused and exceptionally skilled at developing and maintaining positive relationships

• Detail-oriented, process minded and able to work resiliently with multiple priorities
