The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Leisure and Lifestyle CSE to join our team in Millmerran. As a Leisure and Lifestyle CSE, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of leisure and recreational activities for our residents, including games, crafts, exercise programs, and outings.

About You

McLean Care are looking for experienced individuals that are caring and empathetic & looking to contribute to their communities. You will provide personalised care to all residents, including those with dementia and challenging behaviours, with a focus on meeting their individual needs and preferences.

Essential:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with elderly individuals, utilizing appropriate communication strategies to meet their unique needs and preferences.
  • Understanding of WHS principles - including identification & mitigation of venue specific risks
  • Current unencumbered Drivers Licence.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills and ability to use relevant software programs effectively.
  • 2 Recent Managerial Referees
  • Police Clearance – we run one for you for free!

Advantage:

  • Previous experience working with the elderly
  • Certificate III in Individual Support
  • Experience leading a small team
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute engaging activity programs
  • Availability to work flexible hours
  • Demonstrate creativity and proficiency in crafts and arts
  • Current First Aid/ CPR certification or in process of obtaining
