About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary allied health team, specialising in both acute care and rehabilitation services. We provide a high quality Occupational Therapy service across a range of specialities including orthopaedic, cardiorespiratory, general medical, general surgical, neurosurgery, and neurology.

The successful applicant will be appointed to a full time ongoing position, working across both the acute and rehabilitation services within the hospital. The role is appointed at an AHP1 level, and shifts are rostered across a 7 day service, commencing initially on weekdays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality and evidence-based care
  • Work autonomously delivery occupational therapy assessment and intervention across both acute and rehabilitation patient cohorts
  • Comprehensive assessment of patients with a wide variety of conditions
  • Manage a diverse caseload
  • Safe and timely discharge planning

What you bring

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 2 years occupational therapy experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in the acute hospital and/or rehabilitation setting
  • Commitment to life-long learning
  • Dynamic, adaptable, and innovative approach to providing evidence-based, safe and high-quality care
