Role Details
The Finance and Corporate Services directorate is seeking a Procurement Officer to join the Procurement and Contracting team.
The Procurement Officer is responsible for:
- Providing procurement coordination services and projects, including the delivery of procurement and vendor management functions across DCP.
- Providing advice and consultancy services to guide and support agency procurement and quality assurance processes including compliance with policies and the address of commercial, legal and financial risks.
- Developing and maintaining appropriate working relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate information and data sharing to ensure the delivery of quality services and products across the agency.
About You
We are looking for a confident individual with the ability to contribute to procurement management, strategies and acquisition plans and processes to effectively drive and lead contemporary procurement services across DCP.
If you can work under broad direction and deal with conflicting priorities to achieve objectives and meet deadlines, have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and develop collaborate working relationships, then this may be the role for you.
