This is the perfect opportunity for you to join our highly skilled Finance Team. Currently located in Stirling but relocating to Adelaide CBD in May 2025.
The Role:As a key member of the Duxton Pubs Finance team, your role will provide financial support to various Duxton Pubs venues, focusing accounts payable, payroll and accounts receivable. This fast-paced role allows you to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders whilst ensuring a smooth process for employees, venues, and suppliers.
Your Daily Tasks Include:Processing weekly payroll for your allocated venues, ensuring employees are paid in accordance with the HIGA;Liaising with Venue Managers on payroll queries;Coordinating purchasing workflows for a group of venues, including timely and accurate processing of invoices, statement reconciliations and supplier payments;Confirming account details with new suppliers;Frequent reconciliation of bank accounts including credit cards;Assisting with end of month reporting and general ledger reconciliations; andLiaising with suppliers, operations staff and internal stakeholders.
About you:To ensure your success you will have: Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounts, payroll, or bookkeeping role;Previous payroll experience is essential (HIGA knowledge advantageous);Experience using various accounting software packages (i.e. Xero);Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs;A positive attitude and the resilience to work in a changing environment;Ability to work collaboratively with the wider Finance team;Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills; andConfidence to work independently when necessary and take pride and enjoy what you do!
