HOPE has been a provider of community services in Western Australia for over 120 years, providing much needed support for people in the areas of alcohol and other drugs, mental health, justice and family and domestic violence.
About the Opportunity
The purpose of the Team Leader is having an oversight of the data and quality team and monitor quality compliance and evaluation against KPI’s, reporting, data and standards for the organisation. The role overseeing quality of client work and data in consultation with Manager, Quality and Risk. The role is also required to write funder reports in consultation with Managers and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
Requirements of the Role:
- Implement and monitor HOPE audit schedules and tools as allocated to them.
- Undertake audits and communicate audit results and reports
- Provide progress reports to referring agencies, practitioners, and funding bodies.
- Attention to detail and experience in change management processes
- Support services with the review, capture and evaluation of continuous improvement activities via the continuous improvement plan.
- Assist to maintain quality record management and contribute to document control systems and processes, which are in line with HOPE’s policies and standards.
- Understand how data integrity and data systems support quality services and business functions
- Ensure the team collects and reviews their data regularly to maintain accuracy and data integrity.
- Contribute to projects using a project management framework
- Work with Governance and Risk Team Leader to ensure quality and risk information and systems are streamlined across the areas of responsibility.
About you:
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent capability from experience.
- Commitment to work in culturally secure and competent ways.
- Demonstrated experience at auditing and reporting on operational systems for a health or community services organisation.
- Demonstrated experience with monitoring and understanding compliance requirements across a range of industry and accreditation/certification standards and service model fidelities
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with teams across each service stream and understanding the specific quality and date needs of each area
- Proven track record in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of governance and quality assurance frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, and the use of evaluation and risk management tools.
- Experience in service provision in the Alcohol and Other Drug, Mental Health and or Social Services sector.
- A broad understanding of the challenges and experiences of people in regional and remote Australia.
Appointments will be subject to Australian residency/visa, satisfactory National Police check (within 3 months), Working With Children card, Current C or A class driver's license, First Aid Certificate, and suitable work referees.
