About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join our Superannuation & Insurance team in Melbourne’s CBD. This role offers the flexibility to work both from home and in the office, providing a balanced and dynamic working environment.
As a vital member of our Superannuation & Insurance team, you will be the first point of contact for both new and existing clients considering a claim. We understand that many of our clients are navigating challenging circumstances, and our team is committed to making a positive impact on their lives during these difficult times.

As a Legal Assistant in our Superannuation and Insurance team, you will:
- Provide accurate updates and information to clients in a timely manner, ensuring expectations are managed effectively.
- Oversee the administration of client files from opening to closure, maintaining a high standard of organisation.
- Draft and produce client correspondence with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Handle and action all incoming post promptly and efficiently.
- Prepare and process client invoices with accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
- Perform a range of general administrative tasks as required to support the team.

- Excellent and tactful communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Sound judgement in escalating issues or information to a supervisor when necessary.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- No previous Legal experience required
