About the Role
As an Outpatient Administrative Support staff member, you'll play a key role in providing essential, confidential frontline administrative support to the Central Adelaide LHN Outpatient Support Services Department. Reporting to the Outpatient Co-ordinator, you'll help ensure the smooth operation of outpatient services, contributing to a welcoming and efficient environment for patients and staff alike.
In this dynamic position, you will develop a broad skill set across all areas of the Outpatient Support Services. Your responsibilities will include working autonomously while delivering high-quality administrative assistance and maintaining a high standard of service. If you're organised, detail-oriented, and enjoy contributing to a busy healthcare setting, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.
About You
We're looking for someone who is adaptable, organised, and can deliver exceptional administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key role requirements include:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with staff and the public, maintaining confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines while producing high-quality, accurate work under pressure.
- Strong experience in administrative support, including data entry, secretarial functions, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A solid understanding of medical terminology and commitment to delivering excellent customer service in a confidential and professional manner.
