Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia’s leading provider of venue management services. It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide’s most iconic venues: Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, and Coopers Stadium, in addition to functions and events at The Drive.
The Role
As the People Systems & Administration Coordinator , you will play a key role in optimising HR processes, managing people systems, and providing essential support to the People team. Reporting to the People Manager, your expertise will contribute to improving efficiencies, streamlining workflows, and ensuring seamless HR operations within a dynamic and fast-paced events organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement & Mapping – Evaluate and enhance the People Department processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- People System Administration – Support AVM’s HR software systems across workforce management, WHS, learning & development, and team member lifecycle.
- Project Coordination – Assist in the execution of various People projects to meet business goals.
- People Administration & Support – Handle employee queries, maintain policies, and support talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning.
- Workplace Health & Safety – Ensure compliance with WHS policies and contribute to environmental sustainability initiatives.
Skills you will bring to the role:
- Experience in HRIS administration and process improvement.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HR software systems (Human Force, Cognology, Subscribe HR, etc.).
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in HR, business administration, or a related field.
