Your new role
We have an opportunity for an individual to join our Investigations team as a Principal Investigator on a full-time fixed term basis until 21 November 2025 . Reporting to the Manager - Investigations, the role will conduct and lead numerous investigations simultaneously by coordinating resources, providing expert advice, resolving complex issues and ensuring investigations comply with a range of legislative requirements, processes and industry standards.
Duties include:
- Review investigation plans and monitor investigations ensuring adequate resources are available.
- Initiate and build collaborative relationships across the organisation to ensure access to resources and commitment to investigation timelines.
- Attend court and give evidence obtained through the process of the investigation.
- Prepare and review complex written materials including affidavits and applications for warrants, briefs of evidence for court, internal reports and other documents.

Our requirements / Your skill set
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:
- Formal qualifications and/or training in investigations, law enforcement or a related discipline are required.
- Extensive experience in the conduct of sensitive and complex investigations.
Due to the requirement to attain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance candidates must be an Australian citizen at the time of application.
