About the Role
This role offers the opportunity as a talented Digital Designer to work within eCommerce sector. You will lead a small team of image editors and designers whilst also being hands-on designing and creating engaging content across multiple digital channels including website, social, social media and eDM’s. You will also be across photoshop logistics, end-to-end delivery of digital design (from ideation, brief, design to final concept with a HCD approach). Whilst this is a 6 month fixed-term contract, there is the possibility of contract extension.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing digital design assets (end-to-end including liaising with copywriters, social and development teams)Ensuring all design is adhering to brand style guides and driving consistency across all assetsLead the retouching of campaigns and product imagery (mobile and desktop)Conduct website audits for on-going digital projectsWork collaboratively and assist the UX/UI team in any other design needed (formatting product imagery for web etc.)
Skills & Experience4+ years experience in digital design working for a D2C eCommerce/retailer (MUST!)Proficient with Adobe Suite, FigmaExtensive experience photoshopping and editing multimedia imagery.Team management experience (of at least 1 direct report). Please note this is only a small team.Solid understanding of UX principles, WCAG Accessibility and designing experience across multiple devices.Ability to manage multiple projects at once; strong time management skills and experience working to tight deadlines.Excellent team player and able to work collaboratively within a fast-moving environment.Tertiary qualification in design
