The HR Advisor supports the delivery of high-quality customer centric partnering services to clients. The position will apply expertise and judgment in providing effective HR advice to leaders, supervisors, and staff on a range of HR related policies, procedures and initiatives, including position management. They will work collaboratively with the broader Human Resources team and other stakeholders to support the resolution of strategic and operational HR issues for their clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide general advice, support and expertise to leaders, supervisors and staff regarding HR policies, procedures, practices and initiatives to support effective decision making and risk management.Collaborate with client areas and Finance to maintain the integrity of the staffing and workforce profile whilst ensuring alignment with HR and the University’s initiativesProvide support in developing coaching sessions and briefings on upcoming changes to legislation, policies or identified training opportunities.Support leadership and stakeholders to develop and deliver HR plans and activities that are aligned with the University’s strategic agenda and will position the business areas to deliver on their objectives.Contribute and provide administrative support on a range of HR initiatives which may include case management, injury management, workforce planning and change management.Cultivate positive working relationships across the HR team and with key stakeholders to ensure clients receive a high-quality HR service by providing support and guidance in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and relevancy.
About youDemonstrate judgement in interpreting industrial instruments, legislation, policies and procedures, to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice and guidance. Proven ability to build and nurture relationships across varied levels within the organisation to be a trusted advisor.Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to both clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.Show a genuine commitment to a career in Human Resources, continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth and development The occupant of this position will hold tertiary qualifications and relevant subsequent experience.

HEW 7 Salary – Base range - $98,603.19 - $106,825.89 + 17% super. Full package range - $115,365.74 - $124,986.30.
