An opportunity has arisen for a Mine Surveyor to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Senior Mine Surveyor and work on an 8:6 roster.
Your focus will be on collecting and maintaining spatial data to ensure safe and precise mine design and execution.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting surveying activities to support mining operations in achieving both short- and long-term schedules.
- Monitoring mining development for compliance with designs and identifying deviations from the plan.
- Maintaining mine plans and survey void models.
- Establishing and maintaining the survey control network.
- Maintaining survey equipment, including performing regular calibrations and checks.
Our ideal candidate will have some post-study experience in underground mine surveying, including exposure to underground mining environments.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification in mine surveying.
- Proficiency in mining CAD software.
- A current C-class manual driver’s licence.
