About the Role

As our new Senior Associate , you will play a key part in delivering the Government’s strategic priorities by managing projects, driving service delivery reforms, and supporting major initiatives. You will add value by providing well-researched advice, preparing high-quality reports and briefings, and ensuring the successful implementation of key projects. In this role, you will make a real impact by assessing policy proposals, identifying emerging issues, and developing sound recommendations to guide decision-making by the Premier, Cabinet, and senior executives.

You will engage with Ministers’ Offices, public sector agencies, and external stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and negotiation to drive critical initiatives forward. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and confidence in navigating complex policy environments. About the Team

We’re a collaborative team who enjoys working on challenging government priorities. Our delivery works closely with other agencies to help monitor, report and resolve issues to ensure government commitments are implemented effectively and in a timely manner.

A bit about you

  • Experienced in managing complex projects, ensuring alignment with Government objectives, and mitigating risks
  • Expertise in delivering accurate, high-quality analysis and advice that reflects the NSW policy position
  • Strong ability to review proposals, consult with stakeholders, and develop sound recommendations on project feasibility
  • Knowledge service delivery reforms or strategic initiatives, with relevant qualifications or professional experience
  • Track record in building strong relationships across sectors to drive effective engagement and project success
  • Ability to new things and an ability to quickly get across new subject matter.

Salary: Clerk Grade 9/10. Package includes base salary ($120,859 - $133,183) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
