Better Rehab
Dubbo Full-day Full-time

Description:

At Better Rehab, we started with one goal: to provide better Allied Health services for people living with a disability. Fast forward and we’ve grown into a leading National Allied Health provider, making a real impact every day!
As an Intake Specialist, your work directly impacts our participants' journey to achieving greater independence, confidence and quality of life. You’re the friendly guide, the problem-solver and the organiser who makes everything run smoothly so our clinicians can focus on delivering exceptional care.
"Our Penrith office is a fun, inclusive and a supportive environment! In a great central location with an onsite cafe and parking lot."
Your role:
  • Full time, permanent position.
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm
  • Be the first point of contact for our participants and their support network, responding to phone and email inquiries.
  • Schedule and arrange appointments for our team; keeping things running smoothly.
  • Set up service agreements, conduct risk assessments and manage waitlists.
  • Keep our database up to date and help with documentation.
  • Work closely with our regional managers and supervisors to coordinate bookings for new starters.
  • Provide excellent customer service while supporting the people who need us most.

Why You’ll Love Working with Us:
It’s not just about the job, it’s about the experience.
  • Free breakfast and snacks in the office to start your day right!
  • Passionate leave so you can travel, take a career break or follow a passion project while knowing your job will be here when you’re ready to return.
  • Wellbeing matters - enjoy an annual wellbeing day and access to confidential support services.
  • Regular team and social events like aqua golf, bowling and escape rooms!
  • Paid parental leave, study leave and more!
  • A beautiful office location close to Westfields, coffee shops and restaurants.
  • Dog-friendly offices - bring your fur-baby to work!

What makes you a great fit?
You’re someone who thrives in people-focused environments and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. With your tech-savviness, strong organisational skills and love for ticking off tasks, you stay on top of everything. Whether communicating in writing or over the phone, you excel in clear and professional communication.
You enjoy the energy of a fast-paced environment and are always ready to take on new challenges. If you’ve had experience in admin, healthcare, or customer service, that’s a bonus! But don't worry, we're happy to provide training for the right person.
This is more than a desk job - it’s a chance to be part of something bigger! You’ll be the heart of our participant journey, setting the tone for the incredible services we provide.
