The role of the Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing opportunities for business growth whilst fostering strategic partnerships.
The opportunity
You will actively research market trends, seek and develop business opportunities, and work closely with internal stakeholders and the wider AWX team to meet current and new client needs and expand our market presence.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Identify new business and account growth opportunities and work with Sales Manager to pursue these opportunities and implement new solutions for candidates and clients.
  • Identify potential clients, develop proposals, and close deals.
  • Implement business development initiatives and annual business plans as agreed for location.
  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships, to promote awareness and profitable business relationships.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to provide valuable insights to both clients and candidate and continuously refine strategies based on changing landscapes.
  • Network with clients and industry professionals to obtain market information and new business opportunities.
About you
This role requires someone who thinks outside of the box and has drive and passion. You will possess the following:
  • Experience in Recruitment, Sales, or Business Development
  • Be results driven and solution focused
  • Ability to build effective business relationships
  • Persistence, perseverance, and positivity to achieve the desired outcome
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
