About the opportunity:
Position: Staff Specialist - ENT
Vacancy: Permanent part-time, 40 hours per fortnight
Location: Townsville University Hospital
As the Staff Specialist ENT, provide optimal patient care as a Surgeon in accordance with the standard of the specialty and the ethics of the profession.

- Salary range of $78 to $127.77 p.h. (L18-L27)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
- Attraction and retention incentive allowance (50% base salary)
- Motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 and $25,500 p.a.
- Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave

Requirements:
- All applicants must be awarded SoCP by the THHS Credentialing and SoCP committee.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons or equivalent. Eligible for registration with the medical board of Australia.
- Candidates who will be obtaining fellowship in the near future are encouraged to apply. Appointment will be at a lower classification level until minimum requirements for the Staff Specialist classification are obtained.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
