About the Role

Reporting to the Account Receivable Team Leader, the role of the Administration/ Accounts Receivable Officer would be responsible for providing critical administrative and accounts receivable support to ensure the smooth processing, efficient maintenance, and management of the accounts receivable department transactions.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team located at our Office/Distribution Centre in Epping, VIC. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday from 9am - 5pm with on-site parking.

This is an exciting entry-level opportunity to be part of a supportive team and contribute to the finance operations. Some key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to processing and maintaining new / existing customer accounts, addressing customer queries over the phone/ email, processing credit & debit notes, conducting credit checks on new customers, producing monthly statements, managing account maintenance and account receivable email inboxes, processing credit card payments, and general administration duties.

About You

The ideal candidate must have great communication skills, be keen to learn, have good time management skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team.

  • Previous experience in an administration/accounts receivable role
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams)
  • SAP experience preferrable but not essential as training will be provided
  • Proactive and willing to learn
  • Have a positive attitude and are team orientated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solver with high attention to detail
  • Confident ability to liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders regarding sensitive and confidential matters and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Self-starter who can manage priorities and their time effectively, meet regular deadlines and take/follow up action
