PARKROYAL Monash Melbourne are currently looking to appoint a permanent full-time Business Development Executive. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Business Development Executive will focus on building, developing and maintaining client relationships. You will be a part of a high performing team dedicated to creating and implementing hotel level tactical sales plans. To increase revenue and market share, you will analyse current/potential markets, sales trends and participate in activities and entertaining.
The Role:
- Generate new opportunities for large-scale residential, non-residential, and off-site business groups from the MICE, corporate, sports, and entertainment sector.
- Target and cultivate strong relationships, generating leads through PCOs, key corporate clients, event management companies, and third-party bookers specialising in event planning and management within the MICE sector
- Building and formulating sales strategies including the hotels yearly budget
- Site inspections, client entertainment, sales trips, trade shows and industry events
- Target off-site business groups within the broader catchment area to expand and grow the account list
- Sell all facets of hotel and cross sell other Pan Pacific Hotels Group properties
Ideally you will have:
- Execute the proactive sales function within upscale hotel properties
- Exposure to a variety of markets with a key focus on the MICE segment
- Proven success in a comparable role with minimum 2 years’ experience
- Experience in managing new and existing key customer relationships
- Professional presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong research and analytical abilities
