The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager this role will be responsible for preparing month end reports, monthly variance forecast and annual budget analysis and reconciliation.
You'll be working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders on a range of topics from accounting to financial systems support, and other ad-hoc analysis projects as required.
The main responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain dynamic financial models and dashboards to evaluate business and investment performance
- Collaborate with senior management to deliver streamlined and timely budget & forecasting
- Conduct Scenario Planning and what-if analysis - asses the impact of financial and strategic decision making
- Prepare cash-flow forecasts and conduct analysis of operational decisions
- Data handling and reviewing key data metrics to provide profitability analysis including commentary of variances arising from current forecast and annual Budget.
- Review monthly market forecast submissions to understand forecast vs. prior forecast variances.
- Support in Month-end and year-end financial closing including reconciliations and general reporting
- Work with local finance heads to ensure monthly forecast submissions loaded accurately and on a timely basis
- Prepare key forecast deliverables and ensuring all reporting deadlines are met
- Other ad hoc analysis projects as required
Your Profile
To be successful in this role you will be fully CA/CPA qualified with a minimum of 4 years' experience. Ideally you will have previous experience in an analytically focussed role and be eager to continue to learn and grow. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the drive and ambition to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools will be essential to your ongoing success.
