About the Role

Our small yet highly efficient Digital & Technology Team are looking to hire an ICT Support Officer on a casual basis to assist with a 3 day laptop rollout project for our head office in Sydney CBD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring seamless logistical coordination by tracking devices moved to storage or the SCCS collection point and coordinating with MBL to finalize slot allocations and specific collection schedules
  • Oversee the correct distribution of new laptops to MBL employees in Sydney
  • Manage assets by sorting and organising devices, ensuring Gen 6/High-Spec Machines are boxed and stored, and Gen 4 & 5 Machines are boxed and sent to the SCCS collection point for future data destruction and donation
  • Provide on-site coordination and report any logistical or technical issues encountered during the project

Key Selection Criteria

  • Ability to manage and track multiple devices and ensure they are correctly sorted and distributed
  • Ensuring accuracy in tracking, sorting, and reporting any issues
  • Effective coordination with MBL and clear reporting of any logistical or technical issues
  • Basic understanding of IT equipment and asset management
  • Ability to address and resolve any logistical or technical challenges that arise
  • Efficiently managing time to meet distribution schedules and deadlines
  • Working well with others to ensure smooth operations and coordination
  • Previous experience in logistics coordination or IT asset management
  • Experience with inventory management systems and tracking software
  • Familiarity with IT equipment and basic technical troubleshooting
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Experience in coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills for reporting and resolving issues
