Our team is passionate about creating a culture of care and respect, and we are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner who will play a pivotal role in supporting our people and enhancing the impact of our services through dedicated and strategic HR support to our corporate functions.
Purpose of the Role
The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) will build trusting relationships with leaders, employees, and colleagues, providing expert HR advice, coaching, and support on all staff-related matters. This is a true generalist role that will proactively contribute to positive cultural change, supporting our leaders in delivering exceptional care to Anglicare's residents and clients.
Key Responsibilities

Coaching and Advice : Support and guide managers on managing day-to-day performance matters, including misconduct, grievances, underperformance, restructures, and non-work-related health conditions. Influence managers to take responsibility for empowering their teams and holding them accountable.

People & Culture (PAC) Practice Improvements : Identify and recommend improvements to HR policies and processes that increase operational efficiencies. Actively contribute to the creation, review, and implementation of HR processes and policies, incorporating HR best practices.

Position Management : Assist in reviewing position descriptions with managers, using Anglicare’s approach to grading and job sizing roles to identify appropriate market salary ranges.

Organisational Development : Work in collaboration with the organisational development team to operationalise staff engagement survey results, develop succession plans and support business growth

Reporting and Analysis : Research and analyse employee data, providing insights on trends and making recommendations to improve key employee metrics. Conduct exit interviews and work with senior managers to take action to reduce turnover.

Business partnering: Provide HR Business Partnering to Anglicare’s Support Hub, including the Executive and relevant Senior Managers.

Development: Lead organisational development initiatives for Support Hub including succession planning, talent and performance reviews.
Key Skills

Proven ability to plan, execute, and ensure compliance with employment requirements, delivering change initiatives, and leading consultation processes.

Extensive knowledge of current employment laws and regulations regarding people management.

Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to lead training and courageous conversations that build leadership capabilities.

Excellent influencing, negotiation, and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organisation.
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Management, or related fields.

7+ years’ experience in an HRBP role, with functional expertise in industries covered by complex Awards.

Broad HR generalist experience across recruitment, performance management, organisational development, talent and succession planning, employee relations, remuneration and benefits, change management, and HRIS reporting.

Proven track record of providing HR advice that leads to tangible actions and positive business outcomes.

Experience leading managers through the people side of change.
