About the role:
We are seeking an environmental professional to support to our site leadership ensuring best practice across the key environmental element of our operations as we continue to expand mining across the Tritton operations. Reporting to the HSET Manager the role manages a team of Environmental specialists including a Senior Advisor, officer and a technician.
Responsibilities include:
- Leadership and implementation of the Tritton environmental strategy
- Ensuring compliance with all environmental legislative and best practice
- Participating in developing, implementing and reviewing Environmental Management Plans, policies and procedures
- Collaboration with Corporate Environmental team and particularly supporting the expanding mine activities at Tritton
- Co-ordinating and participating in the conduct of external and internal audit
This role will suit an experienced professional familiar with mining or related operations, environmental risk and compliance, monitoring, best practice and a focus on proactive engagement and the provision of expert advice.
