PAE is embarking on a significant digital transformation program that will include the transition of Council’s Technology One ERP solution to the cloud.
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be a key member of the implementation team that is responsible for working with business stakeholders, the IT team and delivery partners to ensure the new ERP solution meets the needs of both Council and the community.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
- Participates in a wide range of projects, including leading small projects and project teams to achieve the objectives of the ICT Strategic Plan and Business Plans.
- Scoping projects and the development of business cases in support of the annual budgeting and planning process. This includes cost benefit analysis.
- Analyses existing business processes, identifying inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement.
- Captures and analyses ‘As-Is' and ‘To-Be' business process models using Business Analysis methods and tools.
- Effectively engages, communicates and presents to a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Supports organisational change management activities, including the development of communication plans, training and adoption.
- Elicits, captures, prioritises and validates both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborates with technical teams to ensure alignment between business and technical requirements.
- Supports the UAT process to ensure that the delivered solution meets documented requirements (requirements traceability).
- Identifies and manages risk to mitigate issues with projects and ICT Systems.
The successful applicant will have:
- Tertiary qualification in business, information technology or relevant discipline.
- Extensive (5+ years) level of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, or similar area.
- Formal qualification(s) in Project Management and Business Analysis is highly regarded.
- Proven experience with the implementation of business applications and technologies, with significant enterprise-wide business process change.
- Strong knowledge of the principles of business and systems analysis, and best practices.

This is a Level 7 position which has a current salary range of $124,098 - $131,904 per annum (plus superannuation).
