As a Vice President in Equity Research, you will play a pivotal role in delivering stock coverage and thematic sector reports on Industrials. You will manage client relationships, communicate strategic insights effectively, and organize fact-finding initiatives to provide valuable market intelligence. Your leadership will be crucial in advancing our franchise by proposing innovative strategies and ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead coverage of a range of Industrials companies listed on the ASX 300.
  • Manage and prioritize client requests, ensuring their needs are met with precision.
  • Articulate your team's strategic insights persuasively to both internal and external stakeholders, tailoring communications to client needs.
  • Organize and oversee fact-finding trips and channel-check meetings for client requests or investor tours.
  • Propose and implement innovative strategies to enhance the franchise's business impact.
  • Ensure adherence to the firm's risk management policies and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Over 8 years of experience in research, with a minimum of 5 years as a writing analyst with stock coverage.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proven ability to independently organize and lead fact-finding trips and channel-check meetings.
  • Expertise in developing comprehensive financial models with minimal guidance.
  • In-depth understanding of industry fundamentals and market dynamics.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and articulate a compelling strategic thesis.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills and a drive to explore new methodologies.
  • Ability to excel under competitive pressures while maintaining a client-centric approach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with institutional clients and senior management.
