The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing our company’s internal communications strategy across Australia and New Zealand. You will drive key business priorities by leading the internal communications and engagement efforts, working in partnership with Human Resources, the Country Leadership Team, and other essential business units. You will collaborate with local, regional, and/or global communications teams to support enterprise-wide communications and events; and be responsible for writing and developing impactful content across a range of internal communications.
What will you do:
Developing impactful content:

Prepare and distribute communications on significant business issues, including changes in policy, leadership announcements, and organizational updates.

Create, maintain, and oversee content for various internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, emails, and other digital platforms.

Identify content relevant for profiling the company through ANZ LinkedIn, in partnership with HR/business priorities.
Collaboration with Human Resources:
-
Work closely with the HR and Country Leadership Team and senior executives to ensure effective communication of key strategic priorities and business-critical matters, and initiatives that position the organisation as a place to thrive/employee value proposition.

Partner with HR to drive internal communications for key initiatives like Great Place to Work, Family Friendly Workplace, and/or Workplace Gender Equality initiatives that underpin the organisation’s culture.
Collaborate with the Workplace Experience Committee (WEC) and RAP:

Co-lead initiatives aimed at improving the employee experience, collaborating with stakeholders to address employee needs and concerns.

Co-lead Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) working groups, collaborating with stakeholders to drive implementation of the activities.
Communications counsel and drive channel management

Provide communications guidance to Enterprise Resource Business Groups.

Implementation of the Communications Playbook guidelines for internal communications.

Maintain channels and provide guidance to business partners in line with the content management strategy.
What should you have:
-
3-5 years’ experience in and Internal Communications role ideally within the pharmaceutical or medical device sector
-
Degree in a relevant discipline and previous experience in internal communications.

Experience in delivering successful employee engagement campaigns and medium-large employee events.

Ability to manage a diverse range of stakeholders across various levels.
-
Proven ability to work independently and cohesively as part of a team.

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail.

Outstanding interpersonal communication skills. Excellent time management skills and a curiosity to learn.
