Your Role
The Project Officer reports to the Manager, Global Engagement. The Global Engagement team within DEi offers a range of immersive global programs and opportunities for students, teachers, education leaders, and Queensland schools each year, delivered online, domestically or via outbound and inbound immersion.
Responsibilities Include
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, both internal and external to the department, including government officials, overseas institution staff, representatives, and students.
- Prepare various executive correspondence, including reports, presentations, and information packages to support international education engagement.
- Manage project implementation plans, resource estimates, time requirements, and completion dates.
- Resolve issues and contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, processes, and systems to improve departmental administration.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Commonwealth and State Acts regarding international student entry and program completion, as well as department-specific policies and guidelines.
