The Disability, Inclusion and Student Services Branch are seeking applications for a dedicated Principal Project Officer to join their team on a full-time temporary basis, from 19 May 2025 until 30 June 2027 unless otherwise determined.As The Principal Project Officer, You Will
- Manage implementation and monitoring of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) projects, products, services and activities to meet departmental goals.
- Provide strategic policy and proactive planning advice on specific issues relating to the various projects and services being delivered by the team.

About The Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Undertake project planning, implementation and review, and the ongoing research and analysis of contemporary issues related to implementation of Positive Behaviour for Learning.
- Prepare project management documents, briefing materials, correspondence, submissions, papers and reports.
- Coordinate the identification, analysis, scoping, planning, implementation and evaluation of a range of PBL projects, services and activities.
- Develop strategies in partnership with key stakeholders, business areas and providers to ensure the delivery and monitoring of agreed program outcomes and PBL initiatives.
- Provide high level advice to the Manager, senior executives and key stakeholders, to ensure professional excellence in the design, planning and reporting of program initiatives.
- Liaise, consult and collaborate with other work units within the department, other government departments and agencies, and relevant professional associations and networks.
