About the role
Calvary Hobart is seeking a friendly and welcoming person to join our Dynamic Supply Department Team.
We are looking for a highly skilled Delivery Officer/Supervisor to provide direct support to the Supply Manager and oversee the daily end to end processing and movement of medical goods through a fast paced Supply Department to end users at Lenah Valley and St Johns Hospital Campus sites.
- Deep knowledge of Supply Chain processes and procedures, understanding of work method statements and high level of safety standards in accordance with regulatory legislation will be required.
- High level of problem solving skills and complaint resolution skills
- This position requires excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- This position will also provide customer service support to the Supply Department Reception Desk and will provide support where necessary for Supply Department general stock service delivery as required.
- Higher duties will be required to provide leave support to the Supply Manager Role.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision & Training : Oversee supply staff and contract labour, support performance development, and train levels 1-4 in supply processes and software.
- Warehouse Operations & Efficiency : Ensure stock control, participate in audits, recommend efficiency improvements, and assist with strategic national projects.
- Team & Culture Management : Monitor staff performance, teamwork, and workplace culture while maintaining excellent customer service and stakeholder relationships.
- Technical & Problem-Solving Skills : Apply deep supply chain knowledge, warehousing software proficiency, and strong problem-solving and complaint resolution skills.
- Compliance & Adaptability : Adhere to WHS policies, perform higher duties as required, and contribute to a mission-driven organisational culture.
