Australian Beer Company is seeking a passionate and dedicated Packaging Leading Hand to join our dynamic team in Yenda. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a love for the art of brewing, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for!
As a Packaging Leading Hand, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and seamless packaging of our beer products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working on weekly rotating shifts – day, afternoon & night
- Ensuring adherence to safe work practices, housekeeping standards, site policies and procedures
- Overseeing the production of quality products in a timely manner
- Operating equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Assisting in training staff as required
- Managing a team of skilled operators and ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and food safety regulations.
To excel in this role, you'll need a keen eye for detail, excellent leadership skills, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement. You'll be responsible for identifying and resolving issues, optimising processes, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment, preferably in the beverage industry
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
