Description:
- Support the Payroll Manager in the delivery of effective and efficient payroll operations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the payroll team, including the management of the payroll workload to meet operational requirements.
- Ensure that the team demonstrates a strong customer service focus; responding to pay queries in a timely manner and possessing the capability and expertise to achieve high quality service.
- Responsible for year-end preparation and reporting.
- Support all internal and external audits related to payroll.
- Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll operations.
- Maintain detailed payroll records and generate reporting as required.
- Ensure integrity of payroll data and system.
Requirements:
- Proven payroll experience for a medium-high-volume workforce
- Demonstrated payroll experience in a team leader capacity
- Excellent communication skills to engage with all areas of the business
- Exposure to various payroll systems and Excel
- Thorough attention to detail
- Great time management skills to manage busy workload and meet strict deadlines
