About the Role
Our Community Care Workers provide a range of high quality services aimed providing support and assistance to frail, aged and disabled clients and their carer’s, so that they can maintain their skills, independence and quality of life within their home and community. This position will be to work across multiple teams within our Community Service Department.
About You
- Ability to work in a team environment with a focus on person centred care.
- Physical ability to undertake manual handling duties.
- Ability to follow routine daily work schedules with limited supervision and working knowledge of OH&S responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to role model KDHS values of Empathy, Wellbeing and Community and the “Everyone is a caregiver” philosophy
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent
- Current First Aid (Level II)
- A registered and insured motor vehicle
- Good time management and communication skills both written and verbal
- Be able to demonstrate KDHS values of empathy, wellbeing and community.
- Computer skills.
