- Provide Level 2/3 IT support to end-users, resolving technical issues swiftly and efficiently.
- Monitor and manage system performance, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.
- Implement, maintain, and improve IT infrastructure in line with industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation on IT procedures and system configurations.
- Collaborate with the technology team to define and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Participate in IT projects, contributing to the overall technological strategy of the company.
- Conduct regular system backups and data recovery exercises to ensure data safety.
- Educate and develop staff members on new software and IT procedures.
Requirements:
A successful 'Senior IT Support Officer L2/3' should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in big business / enterprise organisations.
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, network configurations, and software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
