Description:

  • Provide Level 2/3 IT support to end-users, resolving technical issues swiftly and efficiently.
  • Monitor and manage system performance, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Implement, maintain, and improve IT infrastructure in line with industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on IT procedures and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to define and implement IT policies and procedures.
  • Participate in IT projects, contributing to the overall technological strategy of the company.
  • Conduct regular system backups and data recovery exercises to ensure data safety.
  • Educate and develop staff members on new software and IT procedures.

Requirements:

A successful 'Senior IT Support Officer L2/3' should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in big business / enterprise organisations.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, network configurations, and software applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
