The role
Reporting through the Director, Oral Health Services, the Principal Project Officer applies advanced clinical and service planning knowledge and skills to contribute to the strategic direction of the oral health services through the initiation and management of initiatives, activities, and projects.
The successful person
You will have:
- Demonstrated ability to successfully apply a project management approach to complex projects across a broad range of oral health services planning, workforce and/or reform initiatives to achieve state-wide outcomes.
- Proven experience in the management of large-scale projects through all phases of the project life cycle, applying project management and change management methodologies.
- Experience in stakeholder relationship management to support effective business change, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to provide authoritative advice and expertise to senior management on a range of complex oral health services planning and reform issues, work effectively and collaboratively within a team setting and manage competing priorities to meet agreed deadlines and commitments.
- Demonstrated high level analytical, planning and evaluation skills including the ability to effectively integrate related activities to achieve project deliverables and outcomes.
