Profusion are working with a long-standing wealth management client to build out their regulatory liaison team. Please NOTE this is not a BAU risk or compliance role and will suit a candidate with a history of prior APRA regulatory interaction within the superannuation sector.The role will help drive regulatory engagement with key Australian regulators like APRA, ASIC, and the ACCC. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong internal and external relationships and is ready to make a real impact on regulatory change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in engaging effectively with regulators, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
- Help implement and embed regulatory changes, such as FAR, within the organization.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all regulatory communications.
- Use your APRA liaison experience to support the team in navigating regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and timelines.
- A background in regulatory affairs with previous APRA liaison experience (essential!).
- Superannuation experience very strongly preferred.
- A strong communicator who can manage both internal and external relationships with ease.
- Previous experience working with regulatory change and embedding new requirements into business processes.
- A team player who can balance the technical and operational sides of regulatory engagement.
