Description:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will ensure engineering completion of assigned packages of work including layout design, basic and detail design, engineering management, engineering analysis, contractor management, and engineering support. In addition to this, you will be involved in "hands-on" design, procurement, scheduling and cost management.
You will possess:
- > 8 years involvement in a similar engineering role on a major design and construction project
- > 5 years of experience managing the engineering aspects of capital projects and associated work
- An ability to establish, deploy and manage engineering and design processes
- Advanced relationship-building skills
- Skilled at communicating, achieving consensus and building alignment cooperatively
- Strong knowledge of all (or some) of Inventor, AutoCAD, Space Gass, Sidewinder, Ansys, Powercad, etc
- Experience gained in a heavy industrial environment or large infrastructure project experience
