About:
A NSW Government Agency regulator is looking for an experienced Technical Specialist to work on an exciting natural resources project. This a 3 month contract role. They are open to locations across NSW.
Role:
- Play a key part in the assessment, procurement, and implementation of new technologies
- Work closely with field officers, technical specialists, and stakeholders to evaluate technology solutions.
- Liaise with vendors, and assist in the procurement and deployment of equipment.
- Draft technical reports, operating procedures, user guides, and training materials to support the adoption of new technologies.
- Provide project administration support, including documentation management and logistics coordination.
Requirements:
- Qualifications in science, engineering, hydrometrics, natural resource management, agriculture, surveying, instrumentation, or a related field.
- Familiarity with survey equipment or equivalent experience.
- Strong research and analytical skills to assess emerging technologies.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation, including user guides and reports.
- Excellent organisational skills for procurement, logistics, and project administration.
- Collaborative team player with technical experts, field staff, and vendors.
- Current NSW Driver's License.
