Senior Infrastructure Performance Insights Specialist

About the role

This position delivers information and insights through Business Intelligence Capability to enable informed business decisions. In addition to achieving defined business benefits through operationalisation of insights to achieve customer centric product and asset management.

Responsibilities

  • Champions analytics and BI capabilities to support the service and asset value chain and communicates key information that can be used in product and infrastructure strategies and plans.
  • Grows analytics and BI capability to expand implement best practice approaches that are aligned to Information Governance.
  • Lead engagement and collaborate with the business to ensure analytics and BI capability effectively supports the product and asset value chain.
  • Provides day-to-day governance oversight of Asset and Product analytics and BI programs.
  • Programming of asset analytics and business intelligence projects.

About you

  • Expertise in SQL & Business Intelligence tools
  • Proven working experience in using and governing analytics and BI frameworks.
  • Technical expertise regarding business information domain models, logical or conceptual data models, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Proven working experience gathering business requirements and translating into technical design and solution.
  • A relevant degree qualification (Information and Analytics, Science, Engineering) or 10+ years proven equivalent industry experience.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
  • Experience using asset, location, financial and customer data in utilities context to deliver insights and business outcomes
