About the Role

Sydney Water is seeking a skilled and dynamic Organisational Development Specialist to join our team. This key role is responsible for driving behavioural and cultural change across leadership cohorts, ensuring that Sydney Water continues to foster a culture of leadership excellence, innovation, and accountability.

As an Organisational Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of relevant organisational development solutions that will shape organisational culture, build leadership capabilities and enhance succession planning, You will develop and drive learning and development solutions to uplift the capability of our workforce. You will work collaboratively with various teams to improve team effectiveness and contribute to building a high-performance culture at Sydney Water.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement organisational development initiatives that enhance culture, leadership, and capability across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with the business to understand, anticipate learning needs and implement solutions that builds capability.
  • Drive and manage end to end learning and development solutions for all levels of management.
  • Drive the talent management and succession planning process to build pipeline of talent across the organisation
  • Lead and contribute to culture change programs aimed at fostering a positive shift across all levels of the business.
  • Use data-driven approach, to continually evaluate effectiveness of processes and develop action plans based on analysis and insights
  • Embed the enterprise capability framework into leadership development practices and continually fresh the frameworks
  • Design and develop learning frameworks, development pathways, cohort-based development for accelerating growth of high potentials.
  • Support team effectiveness solutions across the business to foster a high-performance culture, so that teams work cohesively towards the achievement of organisational goals.
  • Partner and collaborate across cross functional teams to deliver on the organisation’s vision

About You:

  • To succeed in this role, you will bring specialist knowledge in organisational development, culture change programs, leadership development, and learning and development, talent management and succession planning,
  • You will have experience in implementing strategies that foster an agile, accountable, and innovative organisational culture.
  • Accreditation in DiSC, Hogan, LSI, Lominger is desireable

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in organisational development with a strong focus on culture change, leadership development, and capability building.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate organisational development programs that enhance business performance and culture.
  • Strong experience in end-to-end management of learning and development cycle, from needs analysis, program design, delivery, evaluation, with strong program and project management skills
  • Proven experience in managing leadership development programs for senior leaders, high potentials, and rising stars.
  • Expertise in management the talent and succession planning process, using data for developing insights and solutions.
  • Experience in building and managing leadership and capability frameworks and designing solutions to build capability
  • Excellent consulting skills, with strong ability to influence and engage with stakeholder at all levels of the organisation
  • Committed to innovation, with strong communication, agile way of thinking, and a passion for driving change.
