Purpose:
The Electrical Project Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing electrical systems and installations at various construction sites. To ensure the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems are efficient, safe, and optimally integrated into construction projects, thereby supporting the operational goals of CC Pines.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Execution
Develop, oversee, and optimize electrical systems for construction projects.
Lead installation and commissioning to meet project specifications and standards.
Utilize CAD software to design electrical schematics and layouts.
Analyze technical drawings and determine project requirements.
Project Management & Problem-Solving
Manage and monitor electrical projects from design to completion.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to ensure system reliability.
Maintain quality, safety, and efficiency while meeting deadlines and budgets.
Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
Collaboration & Leadership
Work with engineers, project managers, and clients to integrate electrical systems.
Support the CC Pines team through training and quality assurance.
Manage subcontractor performance to achieve project goals.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure all electrical installations meet regulatory and safety standards.
Conduct quality assurance and reporting on electrical components.
Promote a safety-first culture with a focus on risk prevention.
Drive energy efficiency and sustainable electrical practices.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
PE certification (if required) and Construction White Card.
5+ years of experience in construction-site electrical engineering, 3 years in Australia.
Proficient in CAD software, MS Office, and electrical design tools.
Strong understanding of regulations, safety, and project management.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
