A full-time Maintenance Person is required to support the upkeep of properties. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role involves general repairs, vacant tenancy cleans, yard and garden maintenance, and waste management. The position is Monday to Friday, ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard while fostering a positive and respectful environment for tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and non-routine maintenance and repairs across properties
- Conduct vacant tenancy cleans and manage waste disposal
- Identify and report maintenance issues or supply needs to the Operations Manager
- Maintain safe and effective waste management practices, including skip bins and rubbish disposal
- Ensure all tenant interactions are professional, respectful, and supportive
- Collaborate with the onsite support team to maintain a positive building culture
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques
- Experience operating power tools and equipment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations
- A valid driver’s license (manual license preferred)
- Willingness to undergo a criminal history check
