Description:
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Collect and assess financial and operational data to support cost analysis.
- Examine cost patterns and deviations to deliver valuable insights.
- Assist in creating cost allocation models for various operational processes, including collection routes and disposal sites.
- Update and manage key cost databases, such as disposal facility records, bin pricing, and contractor expenses.
- Generate key performance metrics and benchmarking reports to guide strategic decisions.
- Support transfer pricing compliance by analysing variances between actual, budgeted, and policy-based internal charges.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and contribute to the execution of efficiency initiatives.
- Develop proficiency in data analysis tools like Power BI while gaining industry-specific expertise.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role you MUST have:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CA / CPA
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Capability to interpret financial data into insight
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with different BU's
- Experience building financial models
- Intermediate experience with Power BI
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
