Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia’s leading provider of venue management services. It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide’s most iconic venues: Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, and Coopers Stadium, in addition to functions and events at The Drive.
The Role
As a Technology Operations Supervisor, you will lead a skilled team, manage state-of-the-art AV equipment and play a key role in bringing events to life. With each day presenting new challenges and opportunities, this position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Inspire : Supervise and coach AV services staff, ensuring seamless task allocation and execution.
- Event Preparation : Cross-check event orders, crew rosters, and venue setups, resolving requests promptly.
- Excellence in Delivery : Provide high-quality, consistent technical AV services across all applications.
- Maintain Standards : Monitor and maintain AV production quality throughout the venue.
- Customer Focus : Deliver exceptional service and continuously seek improvements.
- Hybrid Events : Execute hybrid and virtual events with precision.
- Innovate : Collaborate with the leadership team to develop innovative AV solutions.
Skills you will bring to the role:
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams.
- At least 5 years of experience in Audio, Lighting, or Vision.
- Ability to work independently while guiding others effectively.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Positive, proactive, and adaptable mindset.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
