We are presently looking to fill Product Performance Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Product Performance Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Operations Team, ensuring the highest standards in oyster husbandry, environmental management, and team leadership. Your expertise in optimizing production, fostering a culture of safety, and implementing strategic initiatives will contribute to continuous improvement and long-term success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Performance & Innovation
• Develop strategic deployment plans, integrating batches across bays for consistency and quality.
• Align production with market demands while implementing new technologies and operational improvements.
• Monitor KPIs, document procedures, and provide detailed weekly reports with proactive strategies.
People Management
• Oversee team leadership, onboarding, training, and development to ensure a high-performing workforce.
• Manage rosters, timesheets, and leave while fostering a positive and professional work culture.
• Plan and schedule oyster husbandry, maintain training materials, and promote interdepartmental communication.
Workplace Health & Safety
• Enforce WHS and environmental policies while fostering a zero-harm safety culture.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, ensure PPE compliance, and address risks proactively.
• Report and resolve all incidents and hazards promptly to maintain workplace safety.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Background: Degree or Background in Marine Science, Aquaculture, Biology, or a related field.
• Leadership Experience: Proven track record in managing teams and optimizing operations.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong Data Analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excell and Power BI to assess and improve performance metrics.
• Technical Innovation: Ability to participate in the development and implementation of technological innovations in the aquaculture field.
• Vessel Operation: Coxswain ticket or willingness to obtain certification and operate a commercial vessel.
• Safety Focus: Commitment to maintaining and promoting a strong safety culture.
LOCATION
This position is available at our Coffin Bay site, which is an easy commute from Port Lincoln and is home to our Farming operations.
The Eyre Peninsula is the perfect location for outdoor activities including the best fishing, surfing and camping in proximity to some of the most stunning beaches in the country.
Remuneration will reflect the skills and experience you bring as an aspiring Team Leader, recognising imminent growth opportunities within Angel, including investment in new vessels, new Flip Farming technology, and Best Practice Animal Husbandry, providing scope for professional development and career growth in shellfish Aquaculture.
REMUNERATION
Pay: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year plus super
