ELMO UAT Template: Product Designer We are seeking a talented Product Designer to join our dynamic Product Team3 at ELMO UAT. As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and visual design of our products. This is a Permanent - Full Time position located in [Location]. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create responsive designs for multiple platforms
- Promote design guidelines, best practices and standards within the organisation
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards within the organisation
- Proven work experience as a Product Designer or similar role
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in visual design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma or similar tools
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Design or relevant field
Skills and Experiences:
- Proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role
- Demonstrable proficiency in design software tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and best practices
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups for digital products
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with front-end development languages (e.g. HTML, CSS) to collaborate with developers
- Up-to-date knowledge of design trends, techniques, and technologies
- Experience in conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
