Associate Product Designer

About the role

We’re looking for an Associate Product Designer to join our team and help craft intuitive, engaging digital experiences across our brands and platforms.

This is a junior role, and we’re here to support your growth - you’ll receive support through hands-on opportunities to develop your skills across UX design, interaction design, visual design, and research.

You’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and editorial teams to refine user experiences, solve complex problems, and bring ideas to life. In this role, you will:

• Collaborate & create - Work closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and researchers to create user-friendly and engaging digital experiences.
• Prototype & iterate - Assist in designing and prototyping intuitive user experiences using Figma (or similar tools).
• Develop your craft - Gain experience across the entire product design process, including research, UX design, interaction design, and visual design.
• Participate & contribute - Share ideas, give and receive feedback, and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture in design critiques, workshops, and brainstorming sessions.
• Solve real problems - Support the product and editorial teams in responding to breaking and evolving news events with thoughtful design solutions.
• Contribute to our design systems - Help maintain and evolve our design language and component libraries, ensuring consistency and usability across our products.
• Stay curious - Keep up to date with emerging design trends, best practices, and new technologies to help us continuously improve.
